The Hangover Cure Gone Wrong

I woke up with a throbbing headache, nausea, and a dry mouth. My body ached, and my mind was foggy. I stumbled out of bed, trying to remember what happened the night before. All I could recall was drinking with my friends at a bar, but everything else was a blur. As I made my way to the bathroom, I noticed a strange mark on my arm, like a small puncture wound.

The day dragged on, and my hangover only got worse. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off about that mark on my arm. I decided to investigate and went back to the bar to ask my friends if they knew anything about it. But none of them remembered anything strange happening that night.

I was about to give up when a man approached me, offering a cure for my hangover. He said he was a scientist and had developed a new formula that could cure even the worst hangovers. Desperate for relief, I agreed to try it.

He led me down a dark alley and into a hidden laboratory. The room was filled with strange equipment and bubbling potions. He handed me a vial of green liquid and instructed me to drink it. As soon as I did, I felt an intense burning sensation in my stomach.

Suddenly, everything went black.

When I came to, I was strapped to a table in the laboratory. The mad scientist stood over me, cackling with glee. “You’re the perfect specimen,” he said. “My formula worked perfectly.”

He began to explain how he had been experimenting with human subjects for years, trying to create the ultimate hangover cure. But his experiments had gone terribly wrong, and many of his test subjects had died.

“I needed someone who could withstand the pain,” he said, brandishing a scalpel. “Someone like you.”

He began to cut into my flesh, looking for the source of my pain. I screamed and pleaded for him to stop, but he just laughed and continued his gruesome work.

Hours passed, and I lost all sense of time. My body was wracked with pain, and my mind was in a constant state of terror. I didn’t know if I would ever escape.

But somehow, I did. I managed to break free from my restraints and stumbled out of the laboratory, into the night. I ran until I collapsed, and when I woke up again, I was in a hospital bed.

The doctors told me that I had been found on the street, covered in cuts and bruises. They couldn’t explain how I had gotten there or what had happened to me.

But I knew. And every time I looked at the scars on my body, I remembered the horror of that night. The mad scientist was still out there, somewhere, continuing his twisted experiments. And I knew that I could never truly escape the nightmare he had created.
